I Am Much MORE Than What I Appear To Be!!!
I love and am baffled with Psalms 139:15-16, where God so dynamically and encouragingly tells me that I'm not just some mere statistical and biological result of passion between my parents, or the "oops" of a passionate encounter, or the coincidental collision of particles, or an accidental evolution of molecules, or some ethereal spirit enshrouded by a body I don't like! While I don't understand it all completely, I am definitely GLAD that God (in these verses) is telling me (and all of us for that matter) that I AM (we are) the unique by-product of His important purpose, crafted and created exactly as He wanted and needed me to be, and divinely endowed with talents, a personality, and gifts that are perfectly and wonderfully made by Him. I am not just a thing that happened in the course of time. I am here for a purpose and my coming together during this moment in time was, is, and will always be forever perfectly planned out by the Creator of the Universe. Why? We may never know or fully comprehend the why in our existence or the reasons behind our temperament, looks, feelings, intelligence, the parents we have or didn't have, or the places we've lived, etc. But, what we can do is rely on this fact - that God made us just the way we are based on infinite wisdom and eternal purposes that are exceedingly far beyond all means of human comprehension bringing all of us to the point of trusting in this reality regardless of what we think, believe, want to believe, and hope to hear. It's about FAITH. We must TRUST in what God has done...and give Him thanks...for we are fearfully and wonderfully made!!!
